State-of-the-art methods for effective treatment & optimal outcomes.
As with other medical specialties, advances in gastrointestinal medicine help make us better at detection and diagnosis and improve the effectiveness of the care we're able to provide. That's why we're committed to staying at the forefront of our field.
We practice in a state-of-the-art facility. We maximize our efficiency and accuracy with electronic records. But most importantly, we use leading-edge methods to provide you with the most effective care.
Here's how:
-
Colonoscopy screenings - Our experience and high-definition, narrow-band imaging equipment help us achieve a rate of detection of suspicious tissue well above the national average.
- Upper, lower & capsule endoscopy - The latest high-definition endoscopy equipment enables us to detect more and smaller lesions... and earlier. And our swallowable "pill cam" helps us visualize more of the digestive tract.
- BRAVO pH monitoring - For hard-to-detect acid reflux, a probe placed into the esophagus lets us measure pH levels over 24 to 48 hours.
- Endoscopic retrogradecholangiopancreatography (ERCP) - With endoscopy, we use X-rays and contrast agent (dye) to evaluate for, identify and even repair problems in the gallbladder, bile ducts or pancreas.
- H. pylori testing - For GI pain or ulcer-like symptoms, we can test for the H. pylori bacteria, which may be a cause of your problems.
Medical management of chronic disorders & disease.
Many digestive problems require ongoing treatment, management and follow-up. Our physicians have the skill and dedication to keep symptoms in check and help you maintain a fulfilling, productive life.
- Infusion therapy - For Crohn's disease that doesn't respond well to other therapies, infusion therapy can reduce the signs and symptoms and induce and maintain remission.
- Heartburn & acid reflux
- Colorectal Cancer Screening
- Hepatitis C
- Liver diseases
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Irritable bowel syndrome
