Our center, fully equipped with the latest high-definition equipment, is DuPage County’s only state-licensed freestanding endoscopy center. It is also accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and approved by Medicare. And it is one of a few facilities in Illinois to be recognized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for promoting quality in endoscopy.

At Midwest Endoscopy Center, every endoscopic exam (including screening colonoscopies) is provided by board-certified gastroenterology specialists highly trained and experienced in endoscopy. In addition, we focus solely on GI endoscopy, which allows us to offer comprehensive services without dividing our focus for non-GI or non-endoscopy procedures. And we use state-of-the-art high-definition endoscopy with narrow-band imaging, which gives us greater ability to see and detect abnormal tissue.

But most importantly, we use leading-edge methods to provide you with the most effective care. Here’s how:

• Colonoscopy screenings – Our experience and high-definition, narrow-band imaging equipment help us achieve a rate of detection of suspicious tissue well above the national average.
• Upper and lower endoscopy – The latest high-definition endoscopy equipment enables us to detect more and smaller lesions.
• Bravo™ pH monitoring – For hard-to-detect acid reflux, a probe placed into the esophagus lets us measure pH levels over 24 to 48 hours.
• H. pylori testing – For GI pain or ulcer-like symptoms, we can test for the H. pylori bacteria, which may be a cause of your problems.
