Lisa, with over a decade of invaluable nursing expertise in acute internal medicine and patient care, stands as a testament to unwavering dedication and professional growth. Having attained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the esteemed Rush University Medical Center in 2014, she further solidified her commitment to excellence by earning her Doctorate in Nursing in 2022, also from Rush University Medical Center. Lisa’s journey in healthcare has been a dynamic one, spanning from her early days as a patient care technician at Rush University Medical Center to serving as a relief RN in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Her path led her back to her roots, where she excelled as a preceptor and core charge nurse at Rush University Medical Center once again. Lisa’s unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing, paired with her vibrant zest for life outside of work, paints a portrait of a remarkable individual who embodies the essence of balance, dedication, and genuine passion. Her clinical interests include heartburn, GERD, IBS, chronic blood loss/anemia, and weight loss management. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, home reno/design, taking walks/ being active, and spending time with family & friends. She is certified through AANP and is a member of ASGE.
