A native of Georgia, Dr. Kastin received his medical degree from Tulane University-School of Medicine in New Orleans. He embarked on a career in medicine fueled by the simple yet profound desire in that he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. As a physician, his objective is to heal the sick wherever and whenever possible, enhancing the quality of life for people with very real issues.
Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Kastin’s clinical interests are centered on esophageal disease, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, reflecting his specialization in areas that significantly impact patients’ lives. His medical expertise, coupled with a passion for leisurely pursuits, embodies a well-rounded approach to life. Outside the realms of medicine, Dr. Kastin finds solace and enjoyment in the green landscapes of the golf course and in the rhythmic exchanges of tennis. He is also a member of ASGE, AGA and ACG.
