Outpatient testing, like ultrasounds and CT scans, are completed at Edward Hospital. This includes satellite locations. If your physician ordered a test for you to complete, the order will be placed in your chart for you to schedule.
If your physician ordered bloodwork, we will no longer be verifying coverage for any lab services. Lab orders are usually placed with Quest Diagnostics or Edward Hospital. Please contact your insurance company to make sure Edward Hospital or Quest Diagnostics lab is in network and your tests are a covered service.

Your insurance company may require a pre-certification on any MRI Scans, CT Scans, or Nuclear Medicine Study. Please contact our insurance dept. at (630) 527-6450 ext. 128 at least 96 hours prior to your scheduled appointment date, and leave a message providing the date of your appointment so that we may obtain prior authorization. Your insurance may deny payment of your test without prior approval.
Patients are ultimately responsible for any charges. Please make certain your authorization is approved prior to performing any labs or tests.
Your physician will send you your results in 1-2 weeks via the mail or MyChart.
