Jess is a dedicated healthcare professional who obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. After gaining seven years of invaluable experience as a nurse, she returned to Illinois State to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Being both a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing underscores Jess’s commitment to staying well-informed of advancements in the field. Her dedication to caring for others is a lifelong passion that dates back to her childhood and continues to this day. As a nurse practitioner, she takes pride in collaborating with her patients to develop a personalized plan that effectively addresses their concerns. Her enthusiasm for continuous learning, coupled with a desire to serve others, is evident in her approach to patient care. Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and women’s health related to gastrointestinal issues. In her free time, Jess enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her 3 children and husband. She is certified through the ANCC and is a member of ASGE.
