Thomas Couri, MD

Dr. Couri, a Peoria native, is a distinguished physician with a stellar academic background. Graduating with honors from the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine, he is embarking on a journey dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, his commitment to the well-being of others led him to complete a Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition fellowship as well as a Transplant Hepatology fellowship, both from the University of Chicago. As a physician, he finds fulfillment in taking care of people and has a passion in helping patients achieve their best possible health. This passion is reflected in his clinical interests, which focus on liver diseases and gastrointestinal endoscopy, showcasing a dedication to specialized areas that significantly impact patients’ lives. Dr. Couri loves spending precious time with his wife and daughter, watching football (Go Chiefs!) and spending time outdoors riding his bike.
